Alt Name: --. Opened: 1942. Status in 1944: 9th AF. 438th Troop Carrier Grp. Current use: Disused. Remarks: Airfield almost completely dug up. Was EGVI. The old tower still stands but for the last few years been talk of converting it in to a restaurant. The Greenham Common Business Park is absorbing the ex airfield buildings - two old hangars remain near the business park. (10/2004)
