Alt Name: --. Opened: 1941. Status in 1944: RAF. No.9 SLG. MSU. Current use: Parkland. Remarks: Opened March 1941 for use by Silloth. Stored Battles, Blenheims, Bothas, Hudsons, Wellingtons, Halifax's. Transferred to Kirkbride control in Jan 1942 then back to Silloth in Sept 1942. Closed in July 1945 and the few buildings then housed P.o.Ws. Some buildings remain as do the Nissan hut bases. (03/2006)
