Kirkholm X8KK (A)
Alt Name: Corsewall. Opened: --. Status in 1944: --. Current use: --. Remarks: Loch Ryan was apparently a very busy Sunderland (and other flying boat) harbour. The slipway, by which the boats were brought ashore for major engineering work, is huge and dwarfs the modest yacht club that now uses it. There are remains of engineering and camp buildings all along this shore. (06/2005)
