Alt Name: --. Opened: 1941. Status in 1944: RAF. 91 Grp. Bomber OTU. Current use: Airfield. Remarks: Significant parts of runways and taxiways extant. From the early Sixties it has been used for car drag racing and some spectator facilities are built along side the main runway ( obstructing it ). It is also used by micro-light aircraft and for car boot sales.
