Alt Name: --. Opened: --. Status in 1944: WW1 use only.. Current use: n/k. Remarks: Defending the area was 33 squadron and a field to the North West of South Cave was brought into use as a night landing air strip.(Apparently on the 9th August 1916 there were up to ten Zeppelins bombing Hull and one flew over South Cave). It became disused after the war and left no trace.
