Alt Name: Woodsford. Opened: 1937. Status in 1944: RAF. 11 Grp. Fighter Fwd A/F. Current use: Gravel Pit. Remarks: The site in now mostly large, flooded gravel pits. The control tower has been converted into a private residence. Some hangars remain and one airfield building is now the village hall. (02/2006)
