On 1941-08-07, Pilot Z Brozda (Sergeant, PAF) with servicenumber P.780544 flew a Spitfire IIa with serial P8573 for this duty: Sweep. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Failed to return. Shot down over, France. His body could not be identified and he was buried as 'unknown circumstances of the aircraft loss'.
