11th Hussars captured Liseux
The 11th Hussars, managed to make their way through the town on 24th August, with 22nd Armoured Brigade following them shortly afterwards, and they enjoyed a 10 mile run to the River Risle down the main Route National, waved on by groups of cheering Frenchmen.
