Swedish seaplane-cruiser Gotland spotted German warships Bismark and Prinz Eugen in the Kattegat between Denmark and Sweden. This information was passed on to the British naval attach_ in Stockhlom, Sweden Henry Denham, who in turn passed it to the British Admiralty.
