Contact first made on 24th May by Fl.M.S. Hood and Prince of Wales.
H.M.S. Hood sunk. Bismark damaged.
On 27th May bismarck engaged by H.M battleships King George V and Rodney after air contact and engagement. Finally Bismarck was sunk by H.M. cruiser Dorset¬
shire.
